WCPD co-hosts High-Speed Rail Group's Annual Reception
Rail Minister joins WCPD, HS2 Ltd and over 100 guests to discuss the role High-Speed rail plays in shaping future UK transport.
Last Wednesday (14 December), WCPD was pleased to co-host the High Speed Rail Group's Annual Parliamentary Reception. Managing Director, Shamit Gaiger, spoke to over 100 guests on the important role the business is playing in designing new high-speed services and the need for industry collaboration to deliver new standards in customer experience.
In what was a highly engaging event, there were other speeches by the Rail Minister, Huw Merriman (pictured) 2nd from right); Shadow Rail Minister, Tan Dhesi (far left); and HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd Project Client Director for Old Oak Common, Huw Edwards (he/him) BEng CEng MICE MCIHT RPP MAPM FPWI (far right) – who all agreed on the importance high-speed rail plays in shaping future UK transport.
